Floof friday

I don't think I will ever get tired of seeing these red kites in my area. We have quite a large flock of them which nest in a small woodland area at the end of my street, and even though they can be seen circling the houses all hours of the day, I still find … Continue reading Floof friday

Pokemon doughnuts from Krispy Kreme: A lesson learned

I was so excited to try these new Pokemon doughnuts from Krispy Kreme. However when I posted a picture on my Instagram, Krispy Kreme actually commented to inform me that these doughtnuts are not actually vegan friendly. I had checked the ingredients but as Kirspy Kreme also use vegan friendly sprinkles in some of their … Continue reading Pokemon doughnuts from Krispy Kreme: A lesson learned

I have grown fruit!

With the recent (multiple) heatwaves here in the UK, I was just hoping for my plants in the garden to survive. I did not imagine that they would actually grow anything, so I am VERY excited that my raspberry plant and my strawberry plant has actually produced fruit! Look at the size of them! My … Continue reading I have grown fruit!

Floof Friday

Look at this absolute unit of a pigeon! Nearly half the size of the actual table! I am truly surprised my flimsy bird table was able to support him because he was big! I am pleased though that my little fountain has helped him stay cool in this heat, so if nothing else, that was … Continue reading Floof Friday

Floof Friday

The pigeon has returned! I love pigeons and think they are just adorable, so am always happy to see them visitng my garden. I do plan to add in a proper water fountain at some point soon but so far the table and bird seed is going down a treat! T xxx

Vegan sour patch kids released!

Sourpatch kids were one of my favourite sweets pre-veganism, but here in the UK they are not acccidentally vegan the way they are in the USA. They have released some fun alternatives, but none have been the actual 'kids' - or at least the little humaoid candy shapes that Sour Patch kids are iconic for. … Continue reading Vegan sour patch kids released!

Floof Friday

My new bird table is finally getting used! I do intend to turn it into a water bowl, but I need to find some big rocks to go in it so that there is a way for anyone who gets stuck in the water can climb their way out. I mostly have the insects in … Continue reading Floof Friday

Monster Islands candies from Sainsbury’s

I think I have found my new favourite candy range. I have slowly been trying the various different options from Sainsbury's, as my local store rarely has more than 2 options available. But I am now certain I will pick these up anytime I need a sweet treat because they are just too good! These … Continue reading Monster Islands candies from Sainsbury’s

Italiam Green Bakery caramelle salato brioche

These were an odd find in my local Home Sence store, but they were labelled as vegan and therefore I felt the need to at least try them. I had thought they would be a good breakfast option for days I am in the office for work, as they are individually wrapped and seem like … Continue reading Italiam Green Bakery caramelle salato brioche

New Sour Patch peach sweets

Pre-vegan me loved Sour Patch kids and they were very much my favourite sweet. Finding a suitable alternative has been a bit rocky, as whilst there are some great vegan candies out there, nothing is yet a perfect replacement for Sour Patch Kids. Which means I am quite glad they make vegan sweets themselves. Annoyingly, … Continue reading New Sour Patch peach sweets
