I have grown fruit!

With the recent (multiple) heatwaves here in the UK, I was just hoping for my plants in the garden to survive. I did not imagine that they would actually grow anything, so I am VERY excited that my raspberry plant and my strawberry plant has actually produced fruit!

Look at the size of them! My raspebrry plant is very quickly outgrowing it’s pot, so will need to re-pot that quite soon I think. But my little strawberry plant has nearly doubled in size in the last month so I am hoping to have quite a good little harvest of berries for the next few weeks.

If any green thumbed readers have any tips or tricks for keeping a garden thriving in extreme weather (as the English winter will be upon me soon and I want to be prepared) please let me know in the comments. I have only just started in my gardening hobby so any advice would be greatly appreciated!
