Sourpatch kids were one of my favourite sweets pre-veganism, but here in the UK they are not acccidentally vegan the way they are in the USA. They have released some fun alternatives, but none have been the actual ‘kids’ – or at least the little humaoid candy shapes that Sour Patch kids are iconic for.

So I was very excited to find these! ACTUAL sour patch kids in the little kid shape. And in the best flavour – blue raspberry. Granted, it is literally only this flavour so far, but I am hopeful that more flavours will follow now that they have figured out the recipe.
I found these for Ā£1.50 in my local Sainsbury’s, which I think is a reasonable price for a bag of sweets and is the same price as the non-vegan option, which is always a good thing – no vegan tax here! I will warn you though that these little dudes are insanely moreish, so do be warned that a bag is unlikely to last too long if you are not paying attention. The bag is also quite full, so it is not even like it is a small bag so quicker to get through – they are just that yummu!
