Who is the fictional character you relate to the most?
Elle Woods.
Yes, she inspired me to pursue a career in law, but she has also inspired me to not lose myself in that profession. It can very easy in any career I think to get lost climbing that career ladder without actually stopping to think if this is truly want you want or simply what is expected of you.
I have a much better relationship with my career and have learnt to separate ‘professional Taylor’ from ‘personal Taylor’. But I still find the Legally Blonde movies great comfort films, and there have been times in my life where I truly ask myself ‘What would Elle Woods do?’. It seems silly, but it does help me refocus my perspective.
