My evening skincare routine

Following on from my morning skincare routine, I thought it would help to know what my evening routine looks like. Luckily, this is way shorter! I do not wear make-up every day, as luckily my work is predominantly done from home, but on the days I do wear make-up, I tend to take this off in my evening shower so I consider that a different process. But this evening routine is done every single evening, regardless of what I have done during the day.

Overnight moisteriser

This vitmain e product has done wonders for my skin. I find that with this cream, my skin heals so much quicker than it used to, and it actually has some glow to it when I wake up in the mornings. I did struggle with acne as a kid, and even now I still get the occassional breakout, but this cream is amazing for helping my skin heal quicker – most of my break ups last only a few days now, whereas before hand these would last for a week or so. The product itself it thick and creamy, but absorbs into my skin very quickly and doesn’t leave a shiny or sticky surface.

Vitamin E eye cream

I know that using eye cream is a long-term benefits sort of habit, in that I probably won’t see major benefits of using an eye cream until I start to get older and ageing becomes more apparent. But even still, this has done great work in lessening my dark circles and helping to keep my under eye area looking plump and light. I use this sparingly – maybe a pea sized drop on each under eye – but this seems to be enough to get the benefits. It is again light and absorbs really well into my skin, and leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated.

Both of these products are the Superdrug own brand, so are super affordable. Both of these products are around £3 each and they last me roughly 6 months. Seeing as how I use these products every night, that is insanely good value for money. It also goes to show that you do not need to spend lagre amounts of money on the expensive skincare proiducts when the more affordable options can do the same job. I also find this range to be very gentle on my skin and does exactly what the product claims it will do without any harsh smells or chemicals that leave my skin feeling a bit raw.
