I moved house about 6 months ago and I am still getting used to how the new appliances work, especially the new oven. I am slowly getting used to it, but since we also have an air fryer, progress has been very slow. I therefore tried to bake some cookies over the weekend and…well…lessons were learnt.
So this was how the cookie were meant to turn out….
This is how the cookies actually turned out….
Turns out that this particular baking tray is too big for the actual oven, and so when I closed the oven door it pushed the tray off of the rack slightly and left it sitting at a bit of an odd angle. Hence why it looks like my cookies tried to run away and wound up as one giant cookie at the bottom of the tray. Luckily they still tasted fine (aside from a few burnt edges), they just look like monstrous cookies!
