The return of the pumpkin spice flavouring is my signal that Autumn has finally hit in the UK. Unfortunately our weather is far too unpredictable all year round to really signal any changes to the seasons, so I go by what flavour is the most popular amongst all of the coffee shops and restaurants.
I often like to treat myself to a coffee or hot drink after I have had a very full day of meetings or travelling to different locations, so of course I had to grab myself a pumpkin spice latte when I saw it back on the menu. These really are like a warm hug for me and it is always nice to have your favourite drink.
That being said, I cannot say I have any real preference as to which brand I buy from: This one was from Starbucks purely because it was the coffee shop I walked past. I do find that the flavour doesn’t change from shop to shop, so I tend to buy from whichever is available near me, and from whichever brand has the smallest queue when I turn up. I know some people have a very strong loyalty to a particular brand of coffee shop, but I am just after whatever brand can caffeinate me the quickest!
