Faith in Nature orange soap bar

I like to circulate my scents so I usually have two soaps on the go at one time. Mainly so I can try the different scents and products, but also so I don’t get too used to one scent. The Faith in Nature range so far has been pretty good and I am slowly working my way through the different scents to see if any of them become my new favourite. So far I’ve only tried the Dragon fruit, so don’t have a huge field of reference, but I’m getting there!

The orange looks the same as the dragon fruit bar, but unlike the dragon fruit bar I have found the scent to be very subtle. The dragon fruit was very strong in the bar, but left a subtle scent on your skin once rinsed of. The orange is constantly subtle and I’m not sure if that is a pro or a con at this point. I do find that the scent wears off on the skin quite quickly, so just something to be aware of if you are someone who likes a scent to last for longer.

Aside from that, it is a good bar of soap. It lathers up really well and has very soft bubbles. It does leave a very slight oily texture to the skin once you rinse it off, but I find this disappears quickly as it clearly soaks into my skin, and my skin is left feeling very hydrated and soft as a result. It also seems to last quite a while, as you don’t need to use much soap in order to create quite a thick lather.

Each bar costs £3.50, which is arguably more expensive than the usual on-vegan alternatives, but I do appreciate that Faith in Nature seems to be a brand that promotes sustainability and plastic free products. Plus that vegan tax exists even in beauty products. I am impressed however that I was able to find this in my local Tesco, which would suggest that it is a readily available product and so you don’t always have to go to a specialist store to find it.
