I recently got to cat sit my family cat, Jinx, whilst my parents were away for bit. I sat down on the sofa on the first day, Jinx took up her favourite nap spot on my lap, and that’s basically how I sat for the whole time she was with us. Every time I sat down anywhere, this little shadow would want to sit on my lap. And my husband’s too!
She’s back with my parents again now, and I am already counting down the days until we get to cat sit again. I had nearly forgotten how calming it is to have a warm, purring cat on your lap all day.
