The squirrels that live in the green space outside of my home are currently gorging themselves on the amount of food currently available. In winter, there are a few kind neighbours that appear to leave out extra food for the wildlife, but in summer people also begin to leave out more bird feeders and have more meals outside, which means all of these little ones are truly binging on the goodies.
Here is one little squirrel in particular who was working on his second nut, having managed to finish the first one he had whilst I was still trying to get my phone out of my bag and take a picture of him sitting happily on one the road signs for his midday snack. I miss them come winter when they become harder to see, so am trying to get as many photos of the cuties whilst I can!
