Ok so technically this is not ‘new’ for Veganuary because it was actually a regular on the Greggs meal a few years ago. But for some reason, Greggs did not keep this and decided to remove it. Along with a lot of their regular staples for vegans, including the ham and cheese baguette. Annoyingly, they didn’t even remove them to replace them with a new product or an updated version of the original product, so for the past year I’ve only been able to have a sausage roll and an iced ring doughnut because my local stores never have anything else for vegans.
But this Veganuary it seems Greggs have woken up and brought back my personal favourite: The Steak Bake. I was far too excited when I saw these back on the shelves.
It is unclear whether these are being brought back just for Veganuary or if they are indeed back on the fulltime menu, but I shall keep you updated if I find out anymore information. Although if you guys find out before me please let me know – if they are only here for the month then I need to get my fill whilst I can!
