Starbucks’ Pumpkin Cookie

Fall is my favourite season, and not only because it is pumpkin spice latte season! Now I am not at all a coffee drinker and I very rarely drink coffee, but these lattes are so sweet and warming that come fall I basically just turn into a pumpkin myself.

This year Starbucks have also released a vegan pumpkin cookie. It’s really good! It is sweet, as you would expect a cookie to be, but the pumpkin flavouring means that it is not overly sickly sweet as most cookies can sometimes become. It is a nice savoury/sweet mix and goes really well with a latte – pumpkin spice or other!

Be warned that it does tend to contain quite a few pumpkin seeds (choking hazard warning I guess?), but that does give it a nice extra crunch. They are also quite crumbly so aren’t great for dipping (if that’s how you enjoy cookies and coffee) but somehow still manage to melt in your mouth when you eat them.

Overall: 6/10. Unfortunately these seem to be a seasonal addition only, which means that I really only have 3 months of the year to enjoy them. Which makes me sad.
